Frequently Asked Questions
1. How far in advance do we need to book our event?
Some clients book as far as a year in advance, especially for popular dates and busy seasons. We recommend reaching out as early as possible so we can make sure to get your event covered.
2. How much does entertainment typically cost, and how is pricing determined?
Every event is different. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all price. Give us a call or send us an email with the details of your event, and we’ll be happy to put together options that fit your needs.
3. Do you require a deposit, and what's your cancellation/refund policy?
Yes! We require a 33% deposit to reserve your date. We understand things happen and plans can change. For outdoor events affected by rain, we’re happy to offer a raincheck. If you need to cancel within a week of your event, you’ll only be responsible for your deposit. If you cancel the day of the event, the full balance is due. If you need to change the date and/or time of the event, we will do our best to work with you.
4. Do you charge a travel fee for events outside Oklahoma City?
Yes! The travel fee is based on the distance and the total number of artists/entertainers needed. Rentals may also have a delivery fee. We will always send a quote with the total amount, so there are no surprises.
5. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, credit cards, and corporate checks.
6. How long has Creative Key Entertainment been in business?
We’ve been in business for over 24 years! We are a family-owned business based right here in the OKC area.
7. Are you insured?
Yes! We carry general liability insurance.
8. Will the same entertainer(s) shown in photos/videos actually be at our event?
Yes! The artists/entertainers you see in the photos and videos are real members of our team. We have several entertainers on staff. If you have an entertainer you’d like to request, just let us know. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
9. Do you provide entertainment in Spanish?
Yes! Some of our entertainers are Spanish-speaking. Just let us know at booking, and we’ll do our best to match you with an entertainer who speaks Spanish.
10. What happens if an entertainer is sick or can't make it on the day of the event?
Occasionally, things happen beyond our control, and an entertainer may have an emergency or be unable to make it to the event. The good news is that we have several entertainers on our team, so most likely, we will be able to find a replacement quickly. If an entertainer is unable to attend and we’re not able to find a replacement, we’ll provide a full refund.
11. What space, power, or setup requirements do you need from us?
We’ll let you know what we will need at the time of booking. If you don’t have what we need, let us know. Oftentimes, we can bring a chair and small table with us. If the event is outside, we do require protection from the sun. If power is needed and isn’t available at your event, we have generators available for rent.
12. How many guests can one entertainer or activity accommodate?
We do events of all sizes. What sets us apart is having several talented artists/entertainers on staff, so we can accommodate the needs of very large events. When you book, we can help determine how many artists/entertainers are needed for your event.
13. How long do your artist/entertainers typically stay at an event?
The minimum booking is two hours, and our entertainers will stay for the amount of time that was booked.
14. What age groups are your services best suited for?
Our services are for all ages! We provide artists and entertainment for all ages. Some activities are more kid-focused, like face painting and balloon twisting, but that doesn’t mean adults can’t enjoy them too. Other services are great for all ages, like caricatures, photo booths, DJs, and magicians.
15. Do you offer entertainment specifically for corporate events?
We do! We can work with you to come up with the perfect activity for your company event. We can also incorporate company branding for that extra touch.
